Ramblings-Rave & Rant

Figure of speech at several nautical miles away

Have you wondered why the pilots, who are supposed to be atleast a graduate, speak falteringly when in air? It is like they are searching to check where the plane is actually positioned in air..This is your captain. we are en route to…err…Singapore…and we are err…90 nautical miles…err..of west coast of….err…above sea level…and then it abrubptly ends with “Have a good flight”..how can we when after this short discourse by the pilot we are left wondering if he is drunk or missing his dosage of cocaine or what else. The same pilot, invariably, seems to have recovered by the time you are on your way out and says a nice Thank You or Good Evening.
